The service celebrates the work of Peace UCC toward child well-being. Peace UCC hosts Children’s Defense Fund (CDF) Freedom Schools® enrichment summer, after-school and winter break programs.
Founded inbuilds beloved community so young people grow up CDF1973, CDF developed the CDF Freedom Schools with dignity, hope and joy, based and multicultural program model that -enrichment through a research12 scholars and their families through five essential components: -supports K building enrichment, parent and family -quality academic and character-high involvement, civic engagement and social action, intergenerational servant leadership development, nutrition, health, and mental health.
