| The Walk is only one mile, but you can walk further. It begins at Zion, and ends up there. The Walk is done through Church World Service. 25% of the Walk proceeds will benefit two local Food Pantries: Union Food Pantry; and Second Blessings. The other proceeds will be distributed by CWS to communities near and far, wherever the needs are greatest. Walkers are encouraged to support CWS by gifts of money, and to bring gifts of non perishable food which will be given to a local group. Also, it is hoped Walkers will ask others to support them on the Walk. We hope many people will join in this Walk, so that the Walk will bless many, many who are needing help ! Come join us. |
