The paper is entitled “Born to Run: An Expression of the Liberative\, Divine Movement That Is Rock n Roll.” This opportunity created another opportunity: reviving the All-In Tour. \n  \nWith the support of the Eastern Association\, I did my first such tour in 2013 on my way to General Synod in Long Beach\, playing shows in food pantries\, homeless shelters\, and other ministries for the impoverished. I did several more after that which included shows at churches\, regular venues\, and included educational components for fellow travelers. It is time to bring it back\, so I will be doing a short All-In Tour in the northeast in the week leading up to the conference\, hopefully with my family accompanying me. The event on August 28th is a tour kick off; your chance to experience the music and presentation I’ll be sharing during the tour\, and an opportunity to send us off well. It is free\, but we will collect donations to support the effort. \n  \nI hope you will join us in-person or online. This training is being offered free of charge by the FBI for all clergy and lay leaders. \nThis training will focus on how houses of worship can actively take steps to better safeguard their spaces from external threats. We’ll discuss law enforcement response to active threats\, what individuals should do if they encounter an active threat\, and discuss some of the civil rights and hate crime activities the FBI is seeing. \nSpecial agents from the FBI\, Assistant United States Attorneys\, and local law enforcement will be conducting the training and answering your questions. \nAs seating is limited\, advanced registration is helpful\, but not mandatory. It begins at Zion\, and ends up there.\nThe Walk is done through Church World Service. 25% of the Walk proceeds will benefit\ntwo local Food Pantries: Union Food Pantry; and Second Blessings.\nThe other proceeds will be distributed by CWS to communities near and far\,\nwherever the needs are greatest. Walkers are encouraged to support CWS by gifts of money\,\nand to bring gifts of non perishable food which will be given to a local group.\nAlso\, it is hoped Walkers will ask others to support them on the Walk. We hope many people\nwill join in this Walk\, so that the Walk will bless many\, many who are needing help ! Come join us.
